Methodology
1. Data Collection
Infrastructure specs collected via SSH from each server node (vCPUs, RAM, load average, uptime).
2. Power Estimation
Based on SPECpower benchmarks: ~7W/vCPU (idle), ~0.3W/GB RAM. PUE applied: 1.3 (Cloudjiffy), 1.2 (AWS).
3. Carbon Calculation
Annual energy (kWh) × Grid carbon intensity. India: 0.71 kg CO₂/kWh (IEA 2024), US: 0.42 kg CO₂/kWh (EPA eGRID).
Our Commitment
Measure Annually
We assess our infrastructure carbon footprint every year with transparent methodology.
Optimize Continuously
Right-sized instances, efficient code, and smart resource allocation to minimize waste.
Offset Responsibly
Working towards verified carbon offsets through Gold Standard certified projects.
